As a council we want to make it easy for employers to find the right people for their business. That's why we have created the free "Jobs@SkillsHub" service that will enable employers to tap into local talent. Our supportive team can help you design and advertise your current vacancies to ensure you reach the most suitable candidates. In addition, , we can help by sifting applications to ensure candidates meet the essential criteria.

The Business & IP Centre Newcastle which is also based in the City Library offers a range of support for new and growing businesses.

If you have a capital investment project that would support growth, the North of Tyne Growth Fund may be able to provide a grant of up to 30% of the cost, visit the Growth Fund website to see if you are eligible and find out how to apply.
