NCFE CACHE LEVEL 2 CERTIFICATE IN THE PRINCIPLES OF THE PREVENTION AND CONTROL OF INFECTION IN HEALTH CARE
Course content:
• Understanding how infection can be caused and spread, and how to prevent this.
• The importance of personal hygiene and health in the prevention and control of infection in health care settings.
• Understanding the principles of decontamination processes, effective waste management, and the safe handling of sharps.
• Understand the role of risk assessments in relation to infection control


NCFE LEVEL 1 AWARD IN EMPLOYABILITY SKILLS
• Understanding mindset
• Job application skills
• Interview skills
• Writing a CV


Course runs:
Monday to Friday 15/11/2021 –03/12/2021
10:00 – 15:00 teaching hours
15:00 – 15:30 optional 1:1 tutorial

Upon successful completion of the course, once you have demonstrated your commitment and reliability, you will have a guaranteed interview for the role of Laboratory Support Workers.
