Steps Together: Supporting Women in Newcastle to move into Employment, Self-Employment & Further Training

Are you an unemployed woman living in Newcastle and looking for support to take the steps you need to move forward? We are thrilled to announce that The Millin Charity has recently secured funds from the European Social Investment Fund to deliver Steps Together, an exciting new project for women.

Steps Together provides a range of training & support services for women in Newcastle that will help participants to explore their opportunities, learn new skills, increase confidence, meet new people, receive practical advice & guidance and increase their jobs prospects & opportunities. Through this project, participants will have access to a range of courses & workshops along with support from our team of advisors. Our Steps Together Advisors can work with you on a one-to-one basis to support you on your journey and to provide support & guidance with;

- Action planning & goal setting

- Applying for jobs & preparing for job interviews

- Support with CVs & application forms

- Self-belief and confidence

- Accessing local services
